Scouse Director Ryan Kruger ‘The Screen Behind The Mirror’

Another dark twisted film by Ryan Kruger, this is one of his first experimental films produced in South Africa, but born and bread originally in Liverpool, and made his travels to south Africa to work in film. This film touches a lot on Krugers style and feel to what he always brings to screen, but major influences of 80s horror and cinema, all shot on film which is rare these days.

 Starring Verena Haylett and Phillip Hotz taking the lead roles. A film both disturbing and poignant, The Screen behind the Mirror received awards and many selections around the world at festivals.
