Netflix have renewed German series ‘Dark’ for a second season.

Deadline today announced ‘Dark’ is to be renewed for season 2 on NETFLIX.

The supernatural horror (first aired on NETFLIX this year) is based in a, you guessed it, German town called Winden in 2019. Dark starts with a man hanging himself and leaving a letter. This letter can not be opened until 10:13pm on November 4th. His mother ends up taking the letter before his family get their hands on it.

As the series goes on, a high school student goes missing and a detective is assigned to investigate the disappearance. There’s not many clues about the disappearance other than there being similarities to the detectives brother, who disappeared 33 years prior.
