Original set for March 2021, James Wan’s upcoming Mortal Kombat is set to fight it’s way on to the big screen in January 2021.
Chin Han will portray Shang Tsung in James Wan’s Mortal Kombat with Hiroyuki Sanada playing Scorpion.
The two join Joe Taslim (Sub Zero), Ludi Lin (Liu Kang), Jessica McNamee (Sonya Blade), Josh Lawson (Kano), Tadanobu Asano (Raiden), Mehcad Brooks (Jackson “Jax” Bridges), Sisi Stringer (Mileena) and Lewis Tan.
The New Line Cinema was shot down under in Australia with Simon McQuoid making his feature directing debut from a script written by Greg Russo.
Todd Garner is also on board to produce the film alongside Wan with Larry Kasanoff, E. Bennett Walsh, Michael Clear and Sean Robins executive producing.
