A game that will make your worst nightmare, come true! ‘The Midnight Man’

 

Horror legend Robert Englund has told us all he won’t be playing Freddy Krueger again but don’t you worry! Mr. Englund is hitting your screens again in 2018 with ‘The Midnight Man‘.

The Film is based on a board game. Now this board game, isn’t ya monopoly or chess, it’s a game (if played properly) that will awaken ‘The Midnight Man‘. The Midnight Man will make your worst nightmare come true! Robert Englund stars as Dr. Goodberry.

The film directed by Travis Zariwny, (the man behind the Cabin Fever remake), will also star Insidious actress Lin Shaye

Here’s the synopsis:

Alex (Gabrielle Haugh) is a typical teenage girl who lives with her sick grandmother, Anna (Lin Shaye). While searching through the attic, Alex finds directions to a game, which played properly, will awaken “The Midnight Man” (Kyle Strauts), an evil being who will make your worst nightmare come true. At first, Alex and her friends think the game is harmless fun. It is—until The Midnight Man comes to play…for real. When Dr. Goodberry (horror legend Robert Englund) comes to the house to check on Anna, he can sense The Midnight Man’s presence, and warns the kids that when The Midnight Man comes to play, he plays to win.
