British Sci-Fi film ‘Monsters’ is getting a TV series adaptation

 

Gareth Edwards 2010s ‘Monsters’ is set to become a TV series by Vertigo Films. The series will be broadcast on Channel 4 according to Deadline.

The series is set to be written by Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith with Gareth likely to be involved of course.

Vertigo films who released the film back in 2010 are well known here in the UK with releases like The Sweeney starring Ray Winstone, Bronson starring Tom Hardy and The Football Factory starring Danny Dyer to name a few.

 

Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over North America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain “the creatures”…… Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border
