Moments ago, Deadline revealed the news that the original creator of the Wrong Turn franchise will be back for the remake.
Alan McElroy will write the upcoming remake described as a timely and topical meditation on society and it’s issues. A cross-country hiking expedition puts a group of friends in the land of an inclusive society, where they soon discover they are under a different rule of law, and my not be the victims they thought they were.
Mike P. Nelson will direct the scrip with Robert Kulzer producing with Constantin Film. Martin Moszkowicz will act as executive producer.
I’m a massive fan of the franchise and I can’t wait to see those “cannibalistic mountain men grossly disfigured through generations of in-breeding” slash away again.
