Andrea Ricca is an independent director who has released, since 1998, some Sci-Fi and Horror short movies, with CGI VFX. They reached over 21 million views on YouTube and were welcomed positively by international reviews such as STARBURST, DREAD CENTRAL, HORROR MOVIE.CA, SCREAM HORROR MAGAZINE, SFX UK, GOREZONE, HORROR SOCIETY, HORRORNEWS.NET, HARROW IN THE HEAD, BLOODY DISGUSTING, DAILY HORROR, FAMOUS MONTERS OF FILMLAND, THE CGBROS, FRIGHT NIGHT INTERNATIONAL FILM FEST, the french “ECRAN FANTASTIQUE”, and many more.
Additionally should be added the appreciation of “HAMMER FILM”, “FRIGHT NIGHT INTERNATIONAL FILM FEST”, “CGBROS”. The short films have been selected in competition at the “VIENNA FRIGHT NIGHT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL”, “FANTAFESTIVAL”, “INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL”, “MIAMI INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL”, “LOS ANGELES CINEFEST” and are currently featured on FILMISNOW, MADARTISTPUBLISHING e SHORTFILMCONNECTION.
His most successful works are: “SPIDER DANGER” with over 6 million online views and “ALIENS NIGHT” with over 3.5 million views on YouTube.
All his works are zero budget productions, shot without any troupe, they had no external contributions and made no payment to the sharers. They were realized with the only help of a FullHD Cam and a computer. Writing, shooting, editing, 3D modellation and animation, compositing and post-production was made by the director himself.
