“They’re Here” Poltergiest Is Ready To Haunt The Grounds At Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights

One of the most haunted terrifying houses of all time is heading to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.

That’s right, Tobe Hooper & Steven Spielberg’s Poltergiest will be haunting the grounds from September to November.

Poltergiest was one of the most frightening film’s I’d ever seen as a kid. I never saw the film when it was first release (as I didn’t enter this world until 1988) but watching it as a young child literally freaked the life out of me. One scene that constantly stuck in my head was the famous “They’re Here” scene. That done me!

Here’s the round-up plus the haunting footage of what lies within…

The mazes will lure guests to the Freeling family house built atop a cemetery where malicious ghosts threaten the lives within. From the underground graveyard to ghostly apparitions, guests will come face to face with infamous scenes from the film, including the iconic flickering TV screen, menacing Beast from beyond and pool filled with floating corpses. As guests cross into the “light,” they will find themselves surrounded by a surreal landscape of vanishing walls, floating furniture and a creepy clown with a menacing smile. In a rush against time, guests will be forced to make it back to the world of the living or forever be trapped…
