Taiwanese horror series Green Door has been picked up by Netflix, Deadline share.
The series, which is an adaptation of Joseph Chen’s novel of the same title, first launched in February on Taiwan’s public television service. Lingo Hsieh directed the series that tells the story of Sung-Yen Wei, played by Jam Hsiao, a troubled psychologist who returns from the U.S. to set up his own practice in Taiwan, where mysterious patients and uncanny events shed light on his murky past.
The cast also includes Jam Hsiao, Ying-Hsuan Hsieh, Wei-Hua Lan and Haden Kuo.
