Today Warner Bros shared the long awaited teaser trailer for Todd Phillips Joker.
The trailer shows Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) struggling with life being bullied and bashed up whilst trying to get by in life as a clown but little do they know, the bullying and beat downs leads to Fleck becoming one of DC‘s most violent criminals surfacing! The Joker!
Joker is a standalone film that follows the origin of Batman’s most notorious foe as he transforms from a struggling stand-up comedian to a fullblown criminal force of nature.
Todd Phillips co-wrote the script along with Scott Silver as well as producing the script alongside Bradley Cooper as their Joint Effort banner with Emma Tillinger Koskoff. Richard Baratta, Joseph Garner andBruce Berman are on board as executive producers.
Phillips Joker stars Joaquin Pheonix, Robert De Niro, Frances Conroy, Marc Maron and Zazie Beetz and is set for release 4th October via Warner Bros.
