Deadline have shared exclusively that Universal Pictures are set to produce a new monster movie titled Dark Army.
Paul Feig who directed 2016’s Ghostbusters is set to write and direct the pic that will feature old Universal monsters. Feig will be producing the pic alongside Laura Fischer through his Feigco Productions.
No one was willing to be specific on how Feig’s film will tie into the Monster universe. I’m told the project will include characters from Universal’s classic monster library and original characters created by Feig.
