Starring Laurie Holden & Nicole Múnoz

Review by Bona Fide Bill

Have you ever wished a loved one dead? Even if you didn’t mean it? This is the case in Adam MacDonald’s latest horror flick ‘Pyewacket‘.

The film follows a mother (Laurie Holden) and daughter (Nicole Múnoz) who are grieving over the loss of their husband and father. Leah, played by Nicole, whilst grieving beings to grow interest in the occult which suggests there is life after death. Well that’s what Leah was hoping. Leah’s mum is struggling to come to terms with the loss of her husband and decides she wants to move away and try and move on with her life. As you can imagine, Leah isn’t happy with the fact she’s been moved away from her friends. As tension rises, Leah and her mother have an argument and Leah does something unimaginable!!

Leah unleashes a demonic entity! Can her mother survive?!

I can’t recommend this film enough. The acting is spot on and the film really is gripping. From the moment you first see the entity making its presence till the end, Pyewacket is thrill ride!

Well done to all involved!
