A Family Trip Takes A Dark Turn In Latest Trailer For Jordan Peele’s US

Today, Jordan Peel shared the latest trailer for his upcoming film US, via Reddit (which is rather different).

The trailer shows the family on vacation down at the beach relaxing until a dark cloud emerges with a rather disturbing figure standing on the beach to which the young boy approaches.

The trailer continues on to show snippets of just how intense and dark this film is. It looks awesome!

Unfortunately, Reddit won’t allow us to embed the trailer for here’s the link: https://reddit.app.link/KnEgaLzO0T

The story is set in the present day and follows Adelaide and Gabe Wilson (Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke) as they take their kids to Adelaide’s old childhood beachside home in Northern California for the summer. After a day at the beach with the Tyler family (which includes Elisabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker), Adelaide — who’s haunted by a lingering trauma from her past — becomes increasingly more paranoid that something bad will happen to her family. As night falls, the Wilsons see four figures holding hands and standing silently at the bottom of their driveway…

The film stars Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Anna Diop, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon & Noelle Sheldon with a release date penned for 15th March 2019.
